AFL legend Wayne Schwass to speak at Rise Thrive
Champions are built not just through toughness, but through learning resilience. In real estate, we often focus on external results and the scoreboard, when better results are created when we’re mentally and physically in the game.
That’s why we’re delighted that AFL legend Wayne Schwass will be speaking at Rise Thrive on the topic of Resilience in Champions.
Wayne captured Australia’s attention as one of AFL’s most successful football players playing 282 games at the elite level, both with the North Melbourne Football Club (1988-1997) and the Sydney Swans (1998-2002).
He then made his name as a broadcaster and passionate advocate for mental health awareness, launching both the Sunrise Foundation, which delivered preventative education programs to secondary school students and Puka Up – a social enterprise that focuses on mental health, emotional wellbeing and suicide prevention.
Hear from Wayne, and 23 other best-in-class speakers including judicial legend The Hon Justice Michael Kirby, warrior woman Shantelle Thompson, mental health advocate Mitch Wallis and top-selling author Thomas Keneally at RiSE THRIVE 2023.
Plus industry legends Cathy Baker (Belle Property), Madeline Kennedy (RT Edgar), Drew Ginn (Marshall White), Suzanne Brown (Rentwest), Laura Shooter (SJ Shooter), Justin Miller (Remax), Emily Sim (Ray White) and Lisa Jennings (CoreLogic).
Created by real estate industry professionals, RiSE has been THE real estate conference for mental health and wellness since 2019. We promise frank conversations, bold ideas and keeping it real. RiSE is a stage without pedestals. We share stories and provide insights on better ways to deal with stress, build resilience, manage performance, connect, learn and grow.
