What is the Rise Initiative?
The Rise Initiative Ltd is the mental health charity for the real estate industry. We are a social enterprise run by a volunteer board of real estate industry professionals and part time support team, are registered with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not for Profits Association) and have deductible gift recipient status. We are funded through our sponsors Macquarie, Domain, MRI Software and CoreLogic, and industry donations.
WHAT DOES THE RISE INITIATIVE DO?
The Rise Initiative leads, educates and facilitates mental wellness resources for the real estate profession and their families. We provide education and tools to support real estate agents and property management professionals to better understand the importance of mental wellness in their lives and demonstrate how it can improve their performance at work, home and in their relationships.
We do this primarily through the Real Care app – a free app available to everyone in the industry to download and use. It is full of tools to help agents and PMs proactively deal with stress, anxiety and anger, manage their finances and support better health and wellbeing. It also features three free and completely confidential phone counselling sessions with a qualified counsellor. See our Resources page for more ways to be involved.

Rise Initiative Board
Our core team consists of dedicated Rise Initiative Directors who regularly donate their time to deliver the app to real estate professionals through the community of practice.
The Real care app and RiSE initiative is a give-to-give platform. Every single person involved pays their own way and donates their own time and resources to be involved.
It has been an inspiring demonstration to the industry of the power of collaboration, of helping ourselves by helping others, of camaraderie, and of what can be achieved when it doesn’t matter who takes the credit.
Each of the business leaders below have implemented the Realcare app in their businesses and are leaders who have taken a position about the priority and urgency of the wellbeing of their people ensuring the value of the Rise Initiative cascades to their own organisations and communities.
