Raine & Horne has entered a national partnership with the Rise Initiative Ltd to improve the performance of their teams by delivering mental wellness tools to every office in their group.

The rollout will see Raine & Horne offices across Australia given access to Real Care Office Toolkits providing them with the resources to destigmatise conversations around mental wellness with their teams and encourage behaviour that leads to better performance and balanced lifestyles.

Every team member is also being encouraged to download the Real Care app, which includes access to a free and confidential counselling service and extensive tools to manage stress, anger, compulsions and sleep as well as support goal setting for budgeting, exercise, meditation and connection.

“We know that real estate sales and property management can be tough and stressful at times, and the past two years have amplified these feelings for many of us,” said Mr Andrew Brien, CEO of Raine & Horne.

“The Real Care App is a fabulous tool that has been designed specifically for the Australian real estate industry to help manage and master feelings of overwhelm, improve performance and provide support when times are tough.”

Mr Brien said the Real Care Office Toolkit made it easy for every principal across their group to raise the issue of mental health with their teams, removing a lot of the fear and stigma from the topic.

“The Real Care app and associated toolkit can be easily used by every office,” he said. “It’s a real asset to the industry and an excellent initiative to get behind.”

Rise Initiative president Chris Hanley said every principal had a duty of care to protect the health and wellbeing of their employees, including their mental health.

“The Real Care app was designed with extensive input from Australian real estate agents and property managers to provide support around the issues that affect us all as an industry. Our goal has been to put the tools for good mental health into the hands of every agent and property manager across the industry,” Mr Hanley said.

“Since its launch last year, we’ve worked really hard on both improving the app and building the Office Toolkit that makes it easy to share with your team whether you’re running a big city office or a small regional agency.

“We’re delighted to be working with Raine & Horne nationally on the rollout and encourage every major group to get behind the app and share it with their people. Because it’s our people who truly matter.”

The Real Care app is free and its use is completely confidential. It can be downloaded via Apple or Google Play. Access the Real Care Office Toolkit here. The Real Care app and Employee Assistant Program is made possible through the generous support of Domain.

The Rise Initiative has also recently announced the rollout of monthly Mental Wellness Masterclasses online in partnership with Heart On My Sleeve, an emotional wellness social movement and early intervention services provider for mental health.
